HOA & Multi-Unit Property Inspections

What you can expect from your Multi-Unit property inspection depends largely on the type of community you’re having inspected. Still, there are a few aspects of the property that your inspector will always check, barring specific instructions. 

Areas covered during an inspection fall under these categories:

Exterior. Your inspector will examine the exterior and common areas of any deficiencies, such as cracks and drainage issues. They may also specifically note the location and number of handicap parking spots, any ramps or stairs leading up to the building, retaining wall stability and exterior lighting.

Special Features. If your building has special features, like loading docks or steel sheet doors, your inspector will make note of their condition. Landscaping and Drainage will also be inspected and reported on.

Major Systems. Plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems will be inspected as part of HOA.
