Manufactured, Mobile or Modular Home Inspection

FHIA is also certified to inspect Prefab, Manufactured, Mobile or Modular homes. Although some of the terms to describe these types of homes are often interchangeable in informal conversation, understanding the subtle differences for inspection purposes requires specialized training.  Your Mobile or Manufactured Home will be inspected for defects that are specific to those types of structures, including fire safety issues, and the plumbing, heating and electrical systems, as well as the home's body, frame and foundation requirements.  It will also be checked for affixed seals that certify that the home was built in compliance with U.S. federal housing codes.
